S M Group received three key Bullet Proof Jacket orders from Indian Paramilitary and Indian Police Forces. These are to be delivered in early 2009 to various divisions of the forces engaged in active counter-insurgency operations in the North East of India.

The orders were placed by Security forces against tender enquiries after extensive trial and evaluation in competition with major armour companies. These are the largest of all orders decided by Indian Security forces in 2008.
